I still don’t understand what the S.M.G.C is. How do I find out more?

If you still don’t understand fully what the S.M.G.C is all about, get in touch with one of our members, they will organise speaking to you personally about what the club is all about. Due the vast nature of the club, it is difficult to fully capture truly what the deal is with it all. Failing that, Feel free to come along to one of our open social events.

 

Where does my membership money go?

The S.M.G.C is 100% non profit. Any money that is created as a result of the club will go back into the club to either fund events or to fund merchandise etc for the club never into members pockets.

 

So what does my money go towards?

For prospects the initial £50 of your membership covers the cost of your club harrington, your future back patch, your faction badges and future inner patches (First 10/president/V.P etc) The additional £50 once/if you become an official member covers your official members bundle which includes your charter hoody and tee etc. Each year, on paying your membership you will receive exclusive S.M.G.C merchandise or items in exchange for your membership fee. We would love to not charge money for membership, but we feel it proves that the member in question is serious about the club and as stated previously, it covers your merchandise costs. For nomad and patched members, again, it covers your merchandise costs. All of our financial records are accessible to all our members at anytime and before signing up, if you wish to see these records, ask a current member.

 

Do I get my money back if I lose my membership or leave the club?

Unfortunately as we make minimal profit from any membership and it goes directly towards your merchandise for your membership, we cannot offer any refund for your membership at any point. This also applies to if you request the wrong size for your merchandise. As they are individually made, they cannot be sent back and any alterations or exchange will have to be paid for by you.
